POOJA SHARMA CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION
Pooja Sharma was born in Sindhupalchwok on April 30. When she was three months old, her family moved to Kathmandu. Her father is a doctor by profession, and her mother used to be a teacher but left for personal reasons and is now a housewife. Pooja graduated from Sudesha High School and holds a master’s degree in tourism and hospitality.
FILMY CAREER
Pooja Sharma made her film debut with Three Lovers. She played a supporting character in the film. Pooja admitted in an interview that she regrets doing 3 Lovers. She claimed that she was unprepared at the time and that horrible acting and blunders in the film. Her first leading roles were in Madhumash and Ajhai Pani.
Pooja became an overnight star after the success of Prem Geet. She played the role of Geet in the film. The chemistry of Pooja Sharma and Pradeep Khadka was well acclaimed by the critics and audience. The Prem Geet couple were able to grab the Best Onscreen Couple award in FAAN awards 2016. However, things went bitter after the release of Prem Geet .
Gossips that she unfriended and blocked Pradeep Khadka and producer Ashutosh sen were the hot talks on the town. Rumours of Pradeep Khadka and Pooja break up also followed after the release of the film. Due to a bitter relationship with Pradeep and Ashutosh sen, She was replaced by Aslesha Thakuri in Prem Geet 2 . She teamed up with director Sudarshan Thapa for the next venture of Ma yesto Geet Gaunchu.
Titled after Prem Geet’s super hit ost, Ma yesto geet gauchu became one of the highest-grossing films of Nepal. The film starred Pooja Sharma and Paul Shah in the lead roles. The film was able to gross 25 million in just three days. This marked another milestone in Sharma’s career.

Pooja Sharma’s current boyfriend is Aakash Shrestha. Both have accepted their relationship in front of the media. They fell in love after the movie Ramkahani and has done several music videos together.
Prior to Aakash, Pooja was rumoured to be in a relationship with director Sudarshan Thapa and Actor Pradeep Khadka. There is a rumour that Pooja Sharma was in a relationship with Pradeep Khadka but later broke up. People figured out that the actress had unfriended Pradeep after Prem Geet and thus, was replaced in other sequels. However, both parties have denied the accusations saying that they are just friends nothing more.
