MALIKA MAHAT CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION
Malika Mahat was born on 2 November 1999 in Kathmandu Nepal. She did her schooling from Ideal Model Higher Secondary School and pursued her +2 from Ace Higher Secondary School and is currently doing her BBA from Tribhuwan University. She was interested in acting from her childhood. She did her acting in the stage drama of Madhumalati when she was four years old and since then, she has aspired to be an actress. Apart from being an actress, She wants to be a businesswoman.

Malika Mahat participated in Miss SLC 2016 which brought her some exposure to the media world. She was social media star with a lot of Instagram followers even before her modelling ventures. Eventually, she got modelling offers and has worked in dozens of music videos such as Swopna Suman’s Ma timro, Sushant Khatri’s Sanu Maya, Umang Raj Shrestha’s frozen guy and so on.

Malika debuted to the film line with Yatra opposite Salin Man Baniya. She says she was approached by the producer but she wasn’t sure about it. She thought it was a spam message. But, later after visiting the office and when she thought it was legit auditioned for the role. She was selected for the audition. She played the role of a blind girl in the movie. The movie did not perform well at the box office. However, the film introduced new talent in the Nepali Movie Industry. Malika was nominated for Best Debut Female for the movie.
