SAMRAGYEE RL SHAH CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION
Samragyee RL Shah was born on November 18, 1995, in Birgung, Nepal. She was born as the first child in the family of Neha RL Shah and Mahesh Bikram Shah. She also has a younger brother. As the name suggests, Samragyee is the descendants of the royal family of Prithvi Narayan Shah.
Samragyee had her schooling at St. Xaviers School in Birgung. She studied there up to grade 5 and then moved to India to study at Sai Baba School. She then completed her schooling at the Royal Academy of India. She came back to Nepal and studied for her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (BSW) in NIMS college.

Samragyee started her modeling career after participating in the Classic Diamond Jewelers Competition where she was able to grab the 2nd runner up position. After that, She did quite a few photoshoots with Milan Rai and walked on the ramp for few fashion shows.

SAMRAGYEE’S SEXUAL HARASSMENT CONFESSION
Samragyee RL Shah opened up about the sexual harassment that she faced in the Nepali Movie Industry through her Instagram. She revealed that she was sexually harassed in her debut movie where she was taken advantage of being the new actress. She revealed that the producer came to her, tried to touch and kiss her. She felt very uncomfortable during the shoot.
She also revealed that an unknown man snuck into her room while she was sleeping and tried to touch her. She was scared and started screaming. The man ran from the window but no one came for her help. Later, when she confronted everyone, no one said they had heard her screaming. She felt helpless and scared that she slept with the aunt of her co-star. She says the incident still haunts her and for the worst part, the next day she was made fun of. The director asked her if she was raped and made fun out of it. Samragyee revealed how biased, unsafe and underpaid the actors are in the industry.
