Purna Bahadurko Sarangi Becomes the Highest Grossing Nepali Film Ever

‘Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi’ has created the history of the highest-grossing domestic film. Till Tuesday, the 13th day of release, the film has grossed Rs 25 crore 40 lakhs nationwide.
The distribution company Banktes Entertainment has released the collection till 12th October. The film has grossed Rs 2.5 million on Tuesday alone. The film is projected to earn more than 2 crores on Wednesday.
The Bijay Baral starrer has surpassed the earnings of ‘Kabaddi 4’ and has made history as the highest grossing domestic film. According to the producer, the collection of Kabaddi 4 is (23 crore 50 lakhs) and according to the data given by the Film Development Board (21 crore 38 lakhs).
Looking at the trend of ticket sales, the momentum of ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’ is not likely to stop immediately. In the history of almost 6 decades of domestic films, this film’s earnings have been considered unprecedented.
The film not only created history as the highest collection, but also held the record of the film that got the most shows. Even now, more than 450 shows in the country are occupied by this film. Also, Purna Bahadurko Sarangi became the highest grossing Nepali film in a single day.
The film earned a gross of Rs 3 crore 89 lakh on the same day on 24th November. ‘Kabaddi 4′ gross of 2 crore 90 lakhs has been surpassed by Bansuri Films’ latest collaboration film.
