In the previous post, we have updated the Salary Scale of Nepal Army. The government of Nepal has decided to increase the salary scale of Nepal Police. The salary scale will be effective from Shrawan 1, 2079. The highest salary is received by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nrs. 72,082 followed by Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Nrs. Nrs. 72,082. You can chech the updated salary range from below table.
The Cabinet meeting held on 26th Shrawan approved the new salary range. There was an attempt to increase the salaries of senior employees up to 24 %, but finally, as announced in the budget, the increase was only 15 %.
According to the budget for the fiscal year 2079/80 of Nepal, unveiled on the parliament by Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, Nepal Government has unveiled the increased salary scale of Nepal Police, Nepal Army and other government employees. All government employees civil services, health services, teachers, Nepal Police, Nepal Army & Nepal APF salary scale has been increased by 15%.
