Dhiraj had attended a premier of Bir Bikram in London and that’s when he met Bibek Limbu. But slowly they got close to each other. That’s when Bibek Limbu asked if he was interested in doing movies. Dhiraj was initially not interested but he was convinced by the script and thought to go for it. He was signed as lead actor in Renasha Bantawa Rai’s debut direction Intu Mintu London Ma. He was cast opposite hotcake actress Samragyee RL Shah. The film was the most anticipated movie. However, The film did average business and was highly criticised for the poor screenplay, direction and story. But, the performance of Dhiraj was well acclaimed and was regarded as a potential actor.
